Fredericton awards new transit ad contract

NBshelterPattison Outdoor Advertising has signed a new transit ad contract for Fredericton, N.B., which maintains its presence on the city’s transit shelters and adds exclusive rights for interior and exterior space on buses.

With the new agreement, Pattison is partnering with Fredericton Transit—which is owned by the municipal government—to sell ad space on 28 buses on nine routes and on 58 shelter faces. The contract also gives Pattison unmatched coverage in New Brunswick, representing bus and shelter ads in the only three markets that provide public transportation—Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton—and reaching nearly 50 per cent of the province’s population.

“Our displays will provide excellent visibility for advertisers in Fredericton,” says Sherry Kirwin, Pattison’s general manager (GM) for the Atlantic region. “We are eager to help our clients reach this community and increase revenue growth for the city.”
