[1]Mike Ruff, broadly considered a digital grand-format printing guru, has joined the Color Management Group (CMG), an independent consortium of colour management experts, consultants and integrators.
Ruff has more than 43 years’ experience in graphic arts, having owned a grand-format screenprinting company and served as chief technology officer (CTO) for Nazdar Consulting Services. He has also written for Sign Media Canada and other industry publications. He currently run his own consulting business and is the incoming chair of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA’s) Academy of Screen and Digital Print Technology (ASDPT).
“Mike has a wealth of strategic and practical experience in digital wide-format printing and is well-connected at a very high level,” says Lida Jalali Marschke, president of CMG. “He really rounds out our team and will help us focus on the needs of this growing industry.”
