The 2015 Graphics Canada show, scheduled for April at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont., will feature a series of sessions about the International Digital Enterprise Alliance’s (IDEAlliance’s) G7 methodology for colour calibration of inkjet printers and other devices.
Visiting speakers will include Don Hutheson (pictured left), who invented the methodology, and Ron Ellis (pictured right), a G7 expert and chair of the General Requirements for Applications in Commercial Offset Lithography (GRACoL) committee. Sessions will address expanded colour gamuts, breakthroughs in spot colour process control, the effects of lighting and how G7 applies to wide-format printing, screenprinting and flexography.
There will be no cost to attend the sessions, but space is limited and advance registration is required. For more information, visit www.idealliance.org/events/g7-summit-canada
