Ampco Manufacturers, which produces large-format digital graphics and other products in Coquitlam, B.C., has been chosen as a provincial finalist on Deloitte’s list of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
This marks the second consecutive year Ampco has made the list, which reflects an independent judging process to evaluate the calibre of hundreds of entrepreneurial organizations’ management practices, overall business performance and growth. In addition to Deloitte, the program is sponsored by CIBC Commercial Banking, the National Post and Queen’s University’s School of Business.
Ampco, which custom-manufactures graphics, decals, labels, nameplates, overlays, membrane switches, keypads and custom parts and components, is one of 17 finalists for British Columbia that will go on to the national competition. The national finalists will be selected in mid-December and the winners will be announced in early spring 2013.
