Groupe Lettra adds more large-format printing options

[1]Groupe Lettra in Boisbriand, Que., has installed an Anapurna M3200i roll-to-roll (RTR) ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) inkjet printer from Agfa Graphics so it can offer one-stop shopping for large-format graphics.

Founded in 2000, Groupe Lettra specializes in the production of vehicle graphics, posters, corrugated plastic signs, banners, murals and commercial decals. With the addition of the M3200i RTR (pictured with Pierre Crevaux, operator), the company’s in-house experts can offer a broader range of large-format printing on both flexible and rigid media.

The M3200i RTR is 3.2 m (10.5 ft) wide, is equipped with 1,024 ink nozzles and can reportedly print up to 123 m² (1,324 sf) of graphics per hour. With its dual-roll option, two 1.5-m (60-in.) rolls can be installed next to each other to run two jobs at the same time.
