Aulward Graphics, a lithographic, digital and large-format printing company in Hamilton, has purchased and installed an Agfa Graphics Anapurna M2540 FB printer and an Esko Kongsberg digital cutting table.
Both machines were delivered by Agfa account manager James Burghgraef (pictured, left) to Aulward president Blaine Prince (centre) and wide-format specialist Ross de St. Croix (right). The investment in digital wide-format printing and finishing technology complements the company’s growing focus on the digital print market.
Founded as Inteprint in 1967 by Prince’s father Paul in Grimsby, Ont., Aulward has embraced changes in the printing industry while also contributing to its heritage, offering ongoing support for the Mackenzie Printery and Newspaper Museum in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., and the annual Wayzgoose Festival at Grimsby’s public library and art gallery, which showcases handmade books each April.
