TLatex310_image_350x260_Ctcm2451630662_Ttcm245108560332_F[1]HP Canada has released its new Latex 300 Printer series, geared specifically toward sign shops and print service providers (PSPs) to help them expand their large-format printing capabilities and offer new applications.

Powered by third-generation water-based ‘latex’ ink technology, the printers are designed to help low-volume printing businesses efficiently handle more outdoor and indoor wide-format graphic applications with improved durability and image quality.

The series includes the 310 (pictured), a compact model with front-media loading to minimize the required production area; the 330, which can handle larger, heavier rolls and print up to 50 m2/hr (538 ft2/hr); and the higher-volume 360, which can print up to 91 m2/hr (978 ft2/hr), adds an ink collector for printing on porous textiles and features automatic front-to-back registration for printing double-sided banners.
