Calgary-based I-Dent, which designs, manufactures and supplies regulatory and compliance signs for the oil and gas industry, has installed an Arizona 550GT flatbed printer from Toronto-based Océ-Canada, a subsidiary of the Canon Group.
I-Dent has printed graphics for business clients since 1962. In 2011, the company enhanced its in-house production capabilities for longer-lasting, fade-resistant laminated signs.
The 550GT—which can reportedly output up to 40.2 m2 (433 sf) of display graphics per hour in production mode and 61 m2 (657 sf) in express mode for select media and applications—will complement the shop’s existing Arizona 250GT printer.
