In April, the International Digital Enterprise Alliance (IDEAlliance) will present a free ‘summit’ on the G7 methodology for colour management at Graphics Canada, featuring four of the best-known experts in the field.
Collocated with Graphics Canada, the summit will take place at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont., on April 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The speakers will include (pictured left to right): Don Hutcheson, inventor of G7 and CEO of HutchColor; James Raffel, CEO of ColorMetrix; Ron Ellis, CEO of Ron Ellis Consulting; and Timothy Baechle, director of global print media, markets and technologies for IDEAlliance.
Attendees will learn best practices for print production, focusing on such topics as spot colours, expanded gamuts, dye sublimation and industrial printing. There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is required with Baechle via e-mail at tbaechle@idealliance.org[1]. Sign Media Canada readers can use the special registration code SMGC171.
