The Shopper has installed Xante’ En/Press Multi-Media Digital Press and Enterprise High-Speed Feed System to improve workflow.
Printing and publishing company, The Shopper, recently installed a Xante’ En/Press Multi-Media Digital Press and Enterprise High-Speed Feed System.
The En/Press and its iQueue software improved workflow for the Washington-based company’s mail preparation business. iQueue’s variable data capability, printing, and addressing allows a full mailing job to be turned around overnight.
The shop recently completed a 3000-piece mailer on the En/Press for a local realtor with printing on the front and reverse of a 228- x 304.8-mm (9- x 12-in.) envelope.
“With our old way of printing, I had to buy expensive open-flap envelopes and only run a few at a time,” said Jeff Neely owner of The Shopper. “On the En/Press, I can load 1000 regular envelopes on the Enterprise feeder and just print away. I finish sooner and my customers are happier.”
Mail jobs of 10 to 15,000 pieces are typical demands for The Shopper. Variable-data printing is the most used feature of the iQueue workflow software for the team.
After seeing the En/Press and the Enterprise Feed System demonstrated at one of Xante’s roadshows, Neely decided it was the solution he needed.
Since installing the En/Press, staff produced almost 400,000 individual pieces.
