Canadian signmakers were among those honoured earlier this spring when ST Media Group announced the winners of its 37th annual International Sign Contest.
As in past years, judging by a panel of signmakers was based on creativity, distinctive design and appropriateness of scale and location. The following were this year’s Canadian award winners.
Sign Systems
Second place—Sawatzky’s Imagination Corporation, Chilliwack, B.C., for Whistle Park Hollow Adventure Golf.
Unique Signs
First place—Sawatzky’s Imagination Corporation, Chilliwack, B.C., for ‘Yarrow Shipyard’ (internal project).
Commercial Building Signs
Second place—Eyecandy Signs, Halifax, for the Stubborn Goat Gastropub.
