InfoComm announces inaugural digital signage awards

[1]The first-ever InfoComm Show digital signage award winners were recently announced at the 2014 edition of the annual audiovisual (AV) technology expo in Las Vegas, Nev., after being selected by on-site judges.
Featured in a special post-show electronic magazine (e-zine) sent to professionals in the AV and digital signage industry, the winners were selected from among the show’s exhibitors and included the following:
- Samsung’s QMD-series displays (example pictured).
- BrightSign’s 4K media players.
- Planar’s Clarity Matrix video wall systems.
- Epson’s Powerlite Pro Z1005UNL projectors.
- LG’s 2.1-m (84-in.) 84WT7OPS displays.
- Chief’s ConnexSys video wall mounting systems.
- BenQ’s ultra-wide BH380 bar-type displays.
- RGB Spectrum’s Galileo display processors.
- Hall Research’s UHBX-8X High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) converters.
- Barco’s liquid crystal display (LCD) advertising kiosks.
- NEC’s X554UNS liquid crystal displays (LCDs).
- Advantech’s UTC-620E media players.
