Interactive displays showcase plans for Canada’s tallest building

Interactive display and exhibit producer Ideum recently developed a multi-touch table and integrated video wall for Mizrahi Developments’ sales office promoting The One, a Toronto skyscraper that will become Canada’s tallest building when complete.

Customers can use the 1-m (43-in.) table display, which features a 3M projected capacitive touch screen, and the video wall’s four Christie 1.4-m (55-in.) thin-bezel liquid crystal displays (LCDs) to preview residential units in the planned 305-m (1,000-ft) tall condominium tower at the southwest corner of Yonge and Bloor Streets.

“The data is integrated with a scale model of the building, which lights up to show where there are available units,” explains Hugh McDonald, producer for Ideum. “The video wall displays associated imagery, including the panoramic skyline view from each unit.”
