Interactive screens added to Toronto transit shelter posters

astraltsa1This month, Astral Out of Home is launching its TSA Interactive network in Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) shelters, bringing audio, video and interactivity together in a new static and digital poster format.

Starting with 10 portable screens in high-traffic locations, TSA Interactive allows advertisers to feature dynamic content like movie trailers, mortgage calculators and concert listings in the middle of traditional static poster.

When the concept was tested at several sites throughout the city, 90 per cent of users said they would like to see more of the 559-mm (22-in.) touch screens in TTC shelters, 84 per cent said they would use them again and nearly 100 per cent said the technology helped position the city as innovative and modern.
