The International Sign Association (ISA) is seeking further submissions from member companies for its 2012 Sign Design Competition. The winners will be announced in March at the organization’s annual International Sign Expo in Orlando, Fla. Developed to showcase the breadth and creativity of the sign and visual communications industry (sample past winner pictured), this year’s competition is open to ISA members’ projects completed in 2011. There are eight categories, including two newly added for 2012: electronic message centres (EMCs); and banner signs and vinyl graphics. “Our members create unique projects,” says Lori Anderson, president and CEO of ISA. “This competition is one way of honouring the outstanding work done all year throughout our industry.” The deadline for entries is February 3, 2012. Complete rules, specifications and entry forms are available at www.signs.org/enter2012[2].
