ISA expo one for the record books

The International Sign Association’s (ISA’s) 2013 International Sign Expo was a total sellout, topping 18,766 m² (202,000 sf) of show space and approaching an all-time record with more than 19,500 attendees.

Overall attendance surpassed the 2011 and 2012 expos, ISA reports, and the 593 exhibitors represented a seven per cent increase over 2012. Education-track attendance was also significantly higher than in previous years, with many courses offering standing room only. New features for 2013 included a day-long digital signage workshop, peer roundtables and guided tours to help first-timers navigate the expo floor.

The 2013 International Sign Expo was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., from April 3 to 6. ISA announced the next expo is scheduled for April 23 to 26, 2014, in Orlando, Fla.
