ISA honours former NESA president

MikeLauretanoThe International Sign Association (ISA) has presented the annual Kirk L. Brimley Distinguished Service Award to Mike Lauretano, who has sat on its board and was president of its predecessor, the National Electric Sign Association (NESA), in 1988.

The chair of Lauretano Sign Group (pictured, left) has served multiple terms for ISA’s board of directors over the years. He currently sits on ISA’s direct member steering committee, which advises the board, and is one of the directors of the ISA-affiliated Northeast States Sign Association.

“Mike is always one to give back to the industry,” says Chad Jones, ISA chair (pictured, right). “We are so grateful for his many contributions. Whenever a volunteer is needed for any task, he is quick to raise his hand.”

The distinguished service award is presented each year to honour an ISA member who has shown dedication and made significant contributions to the on-premise sign industry.
