The International Sign Association’s (ISA’s) 2017 International Sign Expo, which was held last month in Las Vegas, Nev., ranked as the largest yet, with more than 20,500 visitors breaking previous overall attendance records.
The expo also surpassed prior attendance records for its education events by nearly 40 per cent. Its 19,510-m2 (210,000-sf) trade show floor included nearly 600 exhibitors and sold out months in advance, leaving dozens of companies on a waiting list. The collocated National Sign Research and Education Conference (NSREC), sponsored by the Sign Research Foundation (SRF), also sold out completely, with attendance 220 per cent higher than its own previous record.
To capitalize on these trends, ISA announced its 2018 event—to be held next March at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.—will feature additional trade show floor space.
