Jetty video wall faces Montreal’s jet flight passengers

Astral Out-of-Home recently unveiled a new video wall at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport for digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising. It is strategically located on the jetty that handles all of the airport’s domestic flights.

The video wall comprises nine 1.4-m (55-in.) liquid crystal displays (LCDs), separated by 5.5-mm (0.2-in.) bezels and backlit by light-emitting diodes (LEDs), for a total face area of more than 7.4 m2 (80 sf), making it the largest video advertising screen anywhere in the airport. It is managed from Astral’s control centre in Montreal.

The video wall debuted on December 18, 2012, with a campaign for Telus. Given the installation location, Astral estimates it will be seen by 5.2 million travellers each year.
