Epson recently donated a 0.6-m (2-ft) wide SureColor P7000 inkjet printer to the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) for use in member training sessions and digital equipment evaluations.
SGIA first used the P7000 (pictured) in a colour management ‘boot camp’ workshop last month at a lab within its headquarters (HQ) in Fairfax, Va. The 10-colour press will also be used for print verification in upcoming hardware evaluations and for another colour management workshop in August.
“To continue providing top-notch educational opportunities for our members, it’s important to have current technology,” says Ray Weiss, digital imaging specialist for SGIA. “Epson’s SureColor P7000 is a great addition to our arsenal.”
