Dahlstrom Display has become the world’s first screenprinting company to be certified by Color-Logic for the visual integrity of its processes for printing special effects, including ‘metallic’ images.

Established in 1968, Dahlstrom currently staffs more than 100 customer service, print production, sales and marketing professionals in a 7,711-m2 (83,000-sf) facility, which produces window graphics, in-store signage, wall graphics, vehicle wraps, point-of-purchase (POP) displays and floor graphics, among other applications (examples pictured).

“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved with our certification,” says Ross Iazzetto, Dahlstrom’s president. “Our customers are benefiting from this method of reliably producing metallic images and designs with colour quality consistency.”

“To qualify for the certification, print providers must produce test forms using Color-Logic systems and software and submit them to our team for verification they were produced within the required tolerances,” says Mark Geeves, Color-Logic’s director of sales and marketing. “The standards are quite stringent. Certified providers are experienced and qualified to print even the most difficult images and designs.”
