[1]Light-emitting diode (LED) digital display manufacturer NanoLumens has promoted Almir DeCarvalho from vice-president (VP) of international sales to VP of strategic accounts, with global responsibility for customer relationships across all vertical markets.
Before joining the company in 2011, DeCarvalho served as director of sales at Adaptive Micro Systems, which also manufactures LED display signs. During his time with NanoLumens, the international division has been the fastest-growing, establishing a footprint in Canada, Brazil, China, Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere.
“Now, with more of our international sales channelled through distributors, we can free Almir up to focus on specific, targeted accounts,” says Rick Bortles, president of global sales. “I believe his experience, talents and dedication will serve him well in this new position.”
