[1]Lettrage Boisvert, a graphic arts company in Repentigny, Que., that specializes in car wraps, has installed a 1.6-m (64-in.) wide HP Latex 570 roll-to-roll (RTR) digital printer, provided by distributor Cansel.

The durable aqueous inkjet press joins Lettrage Boisvert’s existing HP Latex 330 model as the latest extension of the 10-year-old business. Karl Boisvert, owner, is also currently looking to expand its real estate footprint.

The Latex 570 uses scratch-resistant inks that will reportedly last outdoors for three years without lamination or five years with lamination. It can achieve print resolution of 1,220 dots per inch (dpi).
