Major to market for OMAC

JacquesMajor1The Toronto-based Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC) has appointed Jacques Major director of marketing and communications. He will assume the role on January 5, 2015.

Major joins the association with more than 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing. He has managed his own marketing consulting firm for the last 10 years, working with a diverse base of clients. Previously, he served as vice-president (VP) of business development at OK&D Marketing and account executive for Mediacom.

“Jacques will be responsible for developing initiatives to growth the out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry,” says Rosanne Caron, president of OMAC and a member of Sign Media Canada’s editorial advisory board (EAB). “He will implement both English and French marketing and promotional activities to build a stronger presence for OMAC within the advertising community.”

OMAC’s member companies include Astral Out-of-Home, Clear Channel Outdoor, Cogeco Métromédia, Lamar Transit Advertising, Outfront Media, Pattison Outdoor, Quebecor Media Out-of-Home and Zoom Media.
