ABC_Path[1]Pattison Outdoor Advertising recently launched Art Belongs in the Community (ABC), a new national arts initiative, on its Onestop network of digital out-of-home (DOOH) screens in shopping malls across Canada.

Complementing Pattison’s existing Art in Transit program, ABC represents a new partnership between 10 major public galleries and 10 malls:

By showcasing a range of works relating to the galleries’ exhibitions throughout the year, the program—which began on February 9 and will continue until the end of 2015—aims to broaden exposure for featured artists.

“Pattison Outdoor has been involved in the arts with numerous initiatives for years, but this is the first time we have partnered with a group of public art galleries across the country,” says Sharon Switzer, national arts programmer and curator for Pattison Onestop. “It’s a novel approach that will reap positive benefits for artists, galleries and art lovers.”
