Markham, Ont., shop teams up with Canadian Olympic Committee

Visual communications agency ICON Digital Productions Inc. (ICON) of Markham, Ont., is now the official digital and printing production partner of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and Team Canada.

Going forward, ICON will spearhead the production of all signage and printed graphics for Team Canada’s branded spaces at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The signage will be displayed in notable spaces such as Canada Olympic House, as well as major events throughout the country leading up to and during the Games.

“We are thrilled to have ICON Digital Productions join Team Canada,” says Jacqueline Ryan, chief brand and commercial officer of the COC, and CEO of the Canadian Olympic Foundation. “Through this new partnership, we’ll be able to raise the profile of Team Canada athletes at home and on the world stage.”

With a great deal of experience in the Canadian sports and entertainment industry, ICON has produced signage and graphics for professional sports properties such as the Toronto Raptors; the Toronto Maple Leafs; the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Champions League; the NBA; and the NHL.
