- Inkjet printer manufacturer Epson is marking its 70th anniversary. When founded in 1942 as Daiwa Kogyo, it was a manufacturer of watch components. The Epson brand was introduced in 1975, following the company’s first compact digital printer launch in 1968.
- The Digital Imaging Association (DIA) is celebrating its 25th anniversary. It was originally incorporated as the Ontario PrePress Association (OPPA) in 1987, eventually changing its name in 1998.
