Pattison Outdoor is now the sole provider of bus advertising in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), following a five-year agreement for advertising rights on the MiWay transit system in Mississauga, Ont.

Starting this May, Pattison will sell exterior and interior advertising on MiWay’s fleet of about 500 buses, allowing brands to reach commuters throughout Canada’s seventh largest city.

MiWay is the third largest municipal transit service provider in Ontario. Its current fleet services 65 routes for Mississauga’s growing population of about 766,000, across 179 km2 (69.1 mi2). MiWay also connects with GO Transit, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), Brampton Transit, Milton Transit, and Oakville Transit.

“Adding MiWay to our bus advertising offering is an exciting milestone for Pattison Outdoor, as it allows us to further extend our reach in the GTA,” says Nicholas Campney, director of leasing and legislation at Pattison. “Mississauga is a key market for us, and we are thrilled to be the sole provider of bus advertising in this region, giving local and national advertisers an unmatched opportunity to connect with consumers in this bustling city.”
