Momentum grows for DOOH content updates

momentumCanadian outdoor advertising firm Astral Out-of-Home has launched Momentum, a new service that allows digital out-of-home (DOOH) ad campaigns’ messages to be adapted based on real-time data and current events.

The service taps into dynamic content pertaining to traffic (example pictured), weather, sports, social media and other sources. Traffic data comes from Google Maps, for example, while weather updates are supplied by World Weather Online. Compared to Astral’s previous offerings, Momentum updates are more frequent, reliable, accurate and affordable.

“This new feature enhances a solution that’s already proven very popular in the industry,” says Luc Paradis, general manager (GM) of innovation and shared services for Astral. “It will provide a value-added consumer experience.”
