Toronto-based Dot2Dot Communications has helped expand in-store messaging at nearly 30 Manitoba Telecom Services (MTS) Connect shops by deploying new liquid crystal display (LCD) ‘posters.’
Managed by Gorrie Marketing Services, the digital signage network uses Scala software for dynamic media distribution to some 27 stores. While MTS Connect has already used digital signage successfully for more than seven years, the new digital posters—Samsung 1-m (40-in.) LCDs in portrait mode—are replacing traditional static posters, allowing promotional content to be updated quickly.
“This gives us the opportunity to rapidly deploy content to our customers, as well as a cost-effective, ‘greener’ in-store communications strategy,” says Rick McMillin, vice-president (VP) of retail sales for MTS.
