[1]ND Graphics, a Canada-wide distributor of graphic art supplies for the signmaking and screenprinting industries, has acquired its competitor Western Rim Industries (WRI), which has offices in Kelowna, B.C., and Mississauga, Ont.
With the retirement of WRI owner Garwood Leigh, Frank Braeuer (pictured, left) will serve as general manager (GM), operating WRI as a stand-alone business.
“This was an easy decision for us,” says Mark West (pictured, right), president of ND. “WRI is similar to ND not only in terms of their products, but also—more importantly—their culture. Their people are passionate about what they do and totally committed to their customers. This acquisition isn’t about synergies, it’s about bringing two Canadian companies together while maintaining both organizations’ value-added elements.”
