New CNC manager to lead lean manufacturing

MultiCam, which engineers and markets computer numerical control (CNC) routers and laser, plasma, waterjet and knife-based cutting machines for signmakers and other users, has appointed Mike Boyte manufacturing manager.

Boyte has more than 20 years’ experience in manufacturing and quality control in a variety of industries related to factory automation. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading MultiCam’s ‘lean’ manufacturing initiatives, which were launched in 2012.

Boyte reports to MultiCam’s director of operations, Tony McGrew.
