[1]Digital Signage Expo (DSE) producer Exponation is pleased with the reception for its two newest events, CorpComm Expo (CCE) and EduComm Expo (ECE), which were launched on September 30 and October 1 in Atlanta, Ga.
The inaugural conferences and trade shows were collocated at the Georgia World Congress Center, drawing a total of 39 exhibitors and 418 registrants to a 753-m2 (8,100-sf) exhibit hall. CCE (pictured) catered to corporate professionals with oversight for digital signage and other internal communications technologies, while ECE focused on initiatives for university and college campuses.
“The expos presented the ideal opportunity to demonstrate digital displays to the corporate communications and education sectors,” says Richard Ventura, vice-president (VP) of business development for NEC Display Solutions and regular contributor to Sign Media Canada. “The importance of collaboration and communication in these sectors cannot be understated.”
“The attendee base was terrific and the design of the show encouraged conversations with visitors to our booth,” says Heidi Mercer, business development manager for WePresent, which develops wireless interactive presentation systems.
Exponation plans to stage both shows again next fall, but with a move to Chicago, Ill.
