- Drytac, which manufactures adhesive-coated products for the sign industry, has relocated its Canadian warehousing operations from Concord, Ont., to nearby Brampton, where it was already running two production lines. The new building consolidates and expands Drytac’s film converting business and features a new video conferencing system. A showroom is scheduled for completion before the end of the year.
- Toronto-based digital signage service provider Avida lost its offices to a fire on July 1. Fortunately, as the building was unoccupied at the time, no one was hurt. The company was able to relocate immediately to a ‘hot’ standby facility, with reportedly no effect on its customers and partners.
- Dongbu Lightec Canada(DLC), a light-emitting diode (LED) panel supplier based in Markham, Ont., has expanded in the U.S. with a new office in Paramus, N.J., to serve the New England/Tri-State area.
- Quividi, which develops audience measurement and video analytics systems in France for digital signage, has expanded into the North American market with new regional headquarters (HQ) in Sunnyvale, Calif.
