Albion Screen Printing, a Gatineau, Que.-based company specializing in high-quality printing, recently installed an Esko Kongsberg C24 digital cutting solution from Agfa Canada.
The super-wide digital finisher is equipped with a 3kW continuous-duty, high-performance milling unit. It can be configured for milling applications ranging from sporadic, light-duty routing to lengthy jobs that require heavy-duty materials.
The device allows Albion to increase the productivity in its finishing operations for signage, display, and packaging applications.
“The added value of the Kongsberg table lies in the service and the robustness of the equipment,” said the shop’s owner, Alain Deschamp. “The router’s motor allows us to cut materials like acrylic much faster.”
