New fragrance sells out thanks to Toronto POP display

Accenta, a point-of-purchase (POP) and trade show exhibit designer in Mississauga, Ont., recently manufactured a Giorgio Armani display for The Bay that achieved sellout results by the end of its second day.

The promotional campaign for the new ‘Armani Si’ fragrance was launched on September 25 at The Bay’s flagship Toronto store, at the corner of Yonge and Queen Streets. The display was prominently positioned at the main entrance to the beauty department on the second floor.

The display included white acrylic backdrop panels, a poster frame designed for quick image swap, a custom-milled pedestal and display case and a 1-m (40-in.) liquid crystal display (LCD) playing an Armani Si commercial starring Cate Blanchett.
