Unisource Canada, which nationally distributes wide-format graphic arts equipment, consumables and supplies, has welcomed Julie Thompson to its printing papers team as its newest sales representative.

Thompson brings more than 20 years’ industry experience, having held positions with Cascade, Ariva, Coast Paper and most recently JTI Canada, where she was a trade marketing representative. She has extensive experience in specification and business development.

“I am delighted to become part of the Unisource Canada team, where the organizational culture is in line with my commitment as a sales representative,” she says. “I look forward to expanding the company’s presence in the paper industry and the industries it serves.”

In her new role, Thompson will report to Dave Jackson, regional sales director of printing papers.

“Julie’s knowledge and experience in the industry are great additions to our team,” says Jackson. “Her creative approach to sales will be a valuable asset to our growing success.”

Unisource Canada operates 18 locations across the country and is a subsidiary of Unisource Worldwide.
