• Montreal-based TG Graphics/Techno Gestass has partnered with Bobis Engineering in the Netherlands to distribute its BMA Multi-Applicator (pictured) across Canada.
• Adhesive-coated film manufacturer Drytac has signed on to distribute Lintec of America’s Wincos printable window films in Canada and the U.S.
• Hypersign digital signage software is now fully compatible with Samsung’s Galaxy tablet personal computers (PCs), allowing them to serve as low-cost digital signs for medical facilities, educational institutions and conference centres, among other venues.
• Out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm CBS Outdoor International rebranded as Exterion Media in January, following its September 2013 acquisition by Platinum Equity.
• Extending its product line, Van Son Holland Ink is now formulating inks for HP and Canon wide-format inkjet printers.
• 3M Commercial Graphics expanded its Matched Components System (MCS) warranty coverage to finished graphics produced on HP Latex 300 durable aqueous inkjet printers and Mimaki UJV500-160 ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) inkjet printers.
• HP expanded its licensing agreement with Brand Management Group (BMG) to include all large-format media for Designjet Z- and T-series printers. Effective February 1, BMG will market the HP-branded products through its global network of distributors and resellers.
• Ottawa-based design software developer Corel entered an ‘affinity partnership’ with the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), providing discounts on graphics suites to SGIA members.
• Montreal-based Matrox Graphics has named ASI Canada an authorized national distributor of its video card components and equipment for digital signage networks.
• Esko, which supplies software and hardware for signmaking workflows, has named Anderson & Vreeland an authorized reseller in Canada, extending the two companies’ U.S. partnership. Anderson & Vreeland distributes products from locations in Mississauga, Ont., and Montreal.
• Graphic Media has expanded its U.S. reach as a master distributor for ‘smart’ media players and antennas from iSign Media in Richmond Hill, Ont.
