New transit shelter ad contract announced for Saint John

The city of Saint John, N.B., has awarded a new five-year transit shelter advertising contract to Pattison Outdoor, headquartered in Mississauga, Ont. The deal became effective on January 1, 2013.
Pattison says the contract is a significant win, allowing it to offer a more complete out-of-home (OOH) inventory in Saint John, including transit ads, posters and the shelter ads.
“With this contract, we will add 38 advertising faces to our current inventory of posters,” says Sherry Kirwin, general manager (GM) for the Atlantic provinces. “This will enable us to provide greater distribution within the Saint John market, including the west side of the city and near the university and regional hospital, for full coverage.”
Previously, transit shelter ad sales in Saint John were handled by CBS Outdoor.
