OLED pillars celebrate Scotiabank’s digital efforts

LG’s latest organic light-emitting diode (OLED) video wall, recently installed in the rotunda of Scotiabank’s new Digital Factory in downtown Toronto, is reportedly the first of its kind anywhere in Canada.

The Digital Factory is a 6,503-m2 (70,000-sf) production office dedicated to improving the customer experience for Scotiabank’s clients. Employees’ successes are displayed on digital signage throughout the facility, including the LG video wall, comprising a series of OLED pillars.

“The LG signage is differentiated by its curve, which matches the esthetics of the rotunda, and by its pencil-thin profile,” says Valerie Malone, senior director of marketing for LG Electronics Canada. “The OLED screens offer perfect black, which allows them to produce infinite contrast and a multitude of rich colours.”
