The Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC) is inviting the sign industry to vote for the best out-of-home (OOH) ads, choosing from a collection of award-winning contenders from around the world.

OMAC is displaying the collection through its Facebook page, with albums of various recent OOH ads grouped by category. Visitors can select the ads they like, in as many categories as they want, until the deadline on April 18.

“This is the third year we have put together the international OOH collection,” says Rosanne Caron, president of OMAC and member of the Sign Media Canada editorial advisory board (EAB). “Marketers love it, as it provides inspiration and they can see how other advertisers are using OOH media. The new collection features award-winning ads from over 30 countries, including the U.K., U.S., Australia, Switzerland, India, Japan and, of course, Canada.”

The ads receiving the most votes will be featured on a new OMAC ‘micro-site,’ to be launched in May.
