OOH enrols at OCAD U

Montreal-based Zoom Media has entered a new three-year out-of-home (OOH) advertising agreement to place its mini-billboards throughout the Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCAD U) in Toronto.
Announced in August, the venue partnership was up and running in time for the installation of the poster frames before the start of the 2012-2013 school year. The university will receive a portion of the OOH ad revenue.
“We see this partnership as win-win-win,” says Deanne Fisher, OCAD U’s associate vice-president (VP) for students. “Not only does it bring in a much-needed stream of revenue to help us support our students, but the frames will also provide us with a very effective means to get our own messages across.”
With the addition of OCAD U, Zoom now has ad inventory in all four major universities in Toronto, the others being Ryerson University, York University and the University of Toronto. Across Canada, its campus network reportedly achieves nearly 14 million impressions every week.
