Ottawa Airport switches OOH to DOOH

YOW1Under a new eight-year indoor advertising contract with Astral Out-of-Home, Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport will reportedly become Canada’s first airport with 100 per cent digital out-of-home (DOOH) signage structures.

Beginning in October, Astral will replace all of the airport’s existing static ads with digital screens, which will display AeroTV content in English and French, including customized, local CTV News segments.

“Our priority is to create a spectacular, unique and effective ad network that maximizes revenue while preserving the architectural character of our terminal,” says Mark Laroche, the airport’s president and CEO. “Astral’s proposal satisfies these objective and we are very excited to see the mix of content and innovation in the years to come.”
