Out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm Pattison Outdoor and its digital signage division, Onestop, supported this year’s We Day Canada in Ottawa with ads on buses, digital billboards and screens in office towers and residential buildings.
We Day, the world’s largest youth empowerment event, took over Parliament Hill on July 2 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., closing out the Canada Day long weekend celebrations. In the lead-up, Onestop ran teaser ads nationally on its transit, office and residential digital signage networks, featuring portraits of remarkable Canadians, then displayed the event details starting on June 1.
“We were proud to help promote this special event,” says Ian Gadsby, Onestop’s vice-president (VP) of digital technology. “For years, We Day has been inspiring young people across Canada to make a difference in their communities. We are honoured to be part of that movement.”
