As part of a new 10-year agreement with the Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission (OC Transpo), Pattison Outdoor Advertising recently unveiled Ottawa’s first ‘station domination’ campaigns, covering two Transitway stations with wide-format graphics.

A station domination is an opportunity whereby a single company exclusively buys all of the advertising spaces within a given station for a fixed period. In this case, the printed graphics—including vinyl displays on glass surfaces and stair risers—promoted Rogers digital cable television services.

In addition to the graphics installed at Ottawa’s Hurdman and Licoln Fields stations, Rogers’ local campaign also included billboards and double-decker bus murals. It ended earlier this month.
