At the recent Canadian Printing Awards, national wide-format media supplier Unisource Canada took home gold for its ‘Beneath the Surface’ campaign, which was named best marketing campaign in the vendor category.
Focusing primarily on Burgo ChorusArt paper, the bilingual campaign distributed an accordion brochure, a bar of hand-crafted soap, a teaser booklet and belly bands printed on the paper, all enclosed in a white mesh bag. By comparing paper to soap, it suggested the key to quality is beneath the product’s surface.
“It is an honour to receive this award on behalf,” said Nanette Malungkit (pictured), paper and wide-format marketing specialist for Unisource Canada. “We are thankful to have the opportunity to work with talent in the print and design community, who work hard to make our concepts come alive.”
The 2012 Canadian Printing Awards were handed out on November 29 at a ceremony at the Palais Royale in downtown Toronto.
