PATTISON Outdoor Advertising announced its partnership with BIXI to become the exclusive representative for its advertising inventory. This collaboration is set to increase the visibility of local and national advertisers through street-level static posters across BIXI’s growing network.
BIXI, which has grown significantly in the past 16 years, now operates more than 11,000 bikes and nearly 1,000 stations across Greater Montreal, Que. According to the company, more than one in four Montrealers are expected to use the service in 2024, making it a key platform for high-impact advertising.
Dominic Loporcaro, vice-president and general manager of the eastern region at PATTISON Outdoor Advertising, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to begin this collaboration with BIXI and eager to showcase the full potential of advertising on this dynamic network. The partnership will officially launch in winter 2025, with 200 stations and 2,000 specially adapted BIXI bikes remaining available throughout the winter. Advertisers will be able to display 76.22 mm x 114.3 mm (3 in. x 4.5 in.) posters across the city, following a successful pilot project conducted in 2023.
PATTISON Outdoor, which works with 38 transit authorities across Canada, is known for providing advertising solutions tailored to sustainable mobility. The BIXI partnership marks a continued commitment to combining innovative urban initiatives with extensive advertising reach.
