Niagara Region, Ont.—PATTISON Outdoor Advertising has entered into an exclusive agreement with the Niagara Transit Commission to manage and sell advertising space across its transit system. The deal includes transit vehicles and shelters in multiple communities, including Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Welland, Fort Erie, Port Colborne, Thorold, Grimsby, Pelham, and Wainfleet.
PATTISON, which has previously managed transit shelter advertising in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, and Welland, will now oversee advertising on Niagara Transit’s fleet of more than 180 vehicles, including conventional, micro-transit, and specialized transit buses. Available formats include interior and exterior posters, with half-wrap and full-wrap options expected to roll out in the future.
“This agreement represents an exciting evolution of our work in Niagara. Having managed transit shelter advertising here for decades, we’re now able to offer businesses even more ways to connect with their audiences through transit bus advertising,” says Nicholas Campney, director of leasing and legislation at PATTISON Outdoor Advertising. “This expansion allows us to support local businesses, transit users, and the broader community in new and innovative ways.”
The agreement also includes 150 double-sided transit shelters featuring illuminated street-level ad panels. PATTISON will explore new advertising formats as the transit network evolves. PATTISON Outdoor manages transit advertising for GO Transit, Grand River Transit, and Mississauga Transit.
