PMTC competition celebrates country’s best fleet wrap designs

The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) recently honoured the winners of its 2023 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards.

Co-sponsored by 3M, the 38^th annual competition celebrated the most colourful projects in the trucking community. Awards were presented in seven categories, including tractor trailer, straight truck, special events/promotion, light-duty commercial truck, fleet identity graphics, nighttime safety, and human interest.

Winners received recognition during PMTC’s Awards Breakfast, as part of its conference in Hamilton on June 23.

The following fleets were recognized for their wrap designs:

Tractor trailer

• Winner: Giant Tiger
• Honourable Mention: Sleeman Breweries

Straight truck

• Winner: Ultra Properties & Design Ltd
• Honourable Mention: Giant Tiger

Special events/promotion

• Winner: Algoma Orchards
• Honourable Mention: Purolator

Light-duty commercial truck

• Winner: Forever Charging
• Honourable Mention: Dream Makers Hardscaping

Fleet identity graphics

• Winner: Nova Bus Inc
• Honourable Mention: Sobeys

Nighttime safety

• Winner: 4Refuel
• Honourable Mention: MYC Media

Human interest

• Winner: Canadian Blood Services
• Honourable Mention: Penner International Inc
