PMTC hands out 2016 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards

GiantTigerThe Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) announced the winners of its 2016 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards earlier this month, during its annual general meeting (AGM) and conference in King City, Ont.

This is the 31st year for the awards, which are co-sponsored by 3M Canada and recognize colourful fleet graphics in the trucking community. While previous editions usually featured two awards and one honourable mention in each category, this structure has now been streamlined to include only one winner and one runner-up per category.

The following are all of this year’s winners:

Tractor trailer combination
Award—Turbo Images for Coulombe Quebec (pictured, bottom).
Honourable mention—Toronto Digital Imaging (TDI) for F1 Freight Systems.

Special events/Promotional
Award—Toronto Digital Imaging (TDI) for Giant Tiger (pictured, top).
Honourable mention—Turbo Images for Southpaw Beverage.

coulombeStraight truck
Award—Turbo Images for Bondi Produce.
Honourable mention—Hesse for Groupe Camli.

Light-duty
Award—MYC Graphics for Westbury National.
Honourable mention—Toronto Digital Imaging (TDI) for Distribution Alex.

Human interest
Award—Turbo Images for Loblaws and Mississauga Food Bank.
Honourable mention—Toronto Digital Imaging (TDI) for Thrifty Foods.

Fleet identity
Award—Mahar Signs for Sleeman Breweries.
Honourable mention—Turbo Images for Meyers Transport.

Nighttime safety
Award—Turbo Images for Burnbrae Farms.
Honourable mention—Turbo Images for Energy Express.
